Key Responsibilities
Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Perform machine setup independently.
Load and run CNC programs on Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
Set tool offsets and work offsets (G54, G55, etc.).
Load, unload, and inspect machined components.
Read and understand engineering drawings.
Select and change cutting tools as required.
Monitor machining operations and ensure quality standards.
Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process inspection.
Use measuring instruments for dimensional verification.
Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Follow safety procedures and production targets.
Required Skills
Knowledge of VMC machine operations.
Experience with Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers.
Understanding of CNC machining processes.
Knowledge of tool setting and offset setting.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Understanding of machining parameters such as feed, speed, and depth of cut.
Knowledge of fixtures, vices, and job setting.
Basic CNC program editing knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications
ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in automotive, aerospace, defense, precision engineering, or machine shop environments.
