Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience & skill)

Job Summary

Presto Instruments is looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate and manage Vertical Machining Centers for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should be capable of handling machine setup, tool setting, and quality inspection as per engineering drawings and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate VMC machines to manufacture components as per drawings and specifications

• Perform job setup, tool setting, and offset adjustments

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

• Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments

• Ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerance, and surface finish

• Make minor program edits and corrections if required

• Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities

• Maintain daily production and inspection records

• Follow safety rules, quality standards, and housekeeping practices

• Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade

• 0.6–1years of experience as a VMC Operator

• Knowledge of CNC/VMC operations and machining processes

• Experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge)

• Familiarity with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls (preferred)

• Basic understanding of G & M codes

• Ability to work independently and in shifts

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GD&T

• Experience in precision manufacturing or instrument components

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
