# JOB DESCRIPTION – HAAS VMC MACHINE OPERATOR

### Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Haas VMC Machine Operator who can independently handle machine operation, job setting, tool setting and basic troubleshooting as per drawing and production requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

Operate Haas VMC machines• safely and efficiently.

Perform job setting, fixture setting and tool setting•.

Set and adjust G54/work offsets, tool length and wear offsets•.

Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances•.

Basic knowledge of G-code & M-code•.

Set appropriate RPM, feed and cutting parameters•.

• Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process dimensional checks.

Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer and Bore Gauge•.

Identify and correct basic issues related to tool wear, vibration and dimensional variation•.

• Handle machine alarms and report technical issues when required.

Maintain proper 5S, housekeeping and safety standards•.

• Ensure production quality and minimize rejection/wastage.

### Required Skills

Hands-on experience with Haas VMC machines•.

Good knowledge of tool offsets, work offsets and job setting•.

• Ability to read technical drawings.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments.

• Basic CNC/VMC troubleshooting skills.

• Strong focus on quality, safety and productivity.

### Preferred Candidate

• 1–5 years of relevant VMC experience.

• Able to independently operate and set up Haas VMC.

• Willing to work in shifts as per production requirements.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
