Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate and maintain Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines in the Tool Room. The candidate should have experience in machining precision components, molds, and tool parts as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate VMC machines for machining tool room components.

• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.

• Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions.

• Perform offset setting, tool setting, and basic programming adjustments.

• Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Measure finished parts using vernier, micrometer, and other measuring instruments.

• Maintain proper machine operation and follow safety standards.

• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.

• Coordinate with the Tool Room supervisor and design team when required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of VMC machine operation.

• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings.

• Experience in mold / die tool room machining preferred.

• Knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters.

• Basic understanding of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controller.
