VMC Machine operator

We are looking for a VMC Machine operator to join our team at Fluidfit Engineers Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹28,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment

• Assemble, pack and inspect products as per company guidelines

• Maintain records and manage tool room inventory

• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime

• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed

• Collaborate with teams for tool improvements and new mold trials

• 1. Technical Skills

  • Operating VMC Machines

  • Knowledge of CNC programming basics (G-Code & M-Code)

  • Tool setting and tool offset adjustment

  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings / blueprints

  • Knowledge of cutting tools and inserts

  • Machine setup and job changeover

  • Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

  2. Quality Control Skills

  • Using measuring instruments like:

    • Vernier Caliper

    • Micrometer

    • Height Gauge

    • Dial Indicator

  • Checking dimensions and tolerances

  • Maintaining quality standards

  3. Production Skills

  • Monitoring machine performance

  • Maintaining production targets

  • Reducing machine downtime

  • Handling multiple jobs on VMC

  4. Safety & Workplace Skills

  • Knowledge of machine safety procedures

  • Proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Maintaining clean and organized work area (5S)

  5. Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem-solving ability

  • Teamwork with production team

  • Time management

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 6 months - 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
