Job Description

Operate VMC machines to manufacture components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform machine setup, tool offset, and tool changing before production.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues during production.
Maintain production records and daily machine logs.
Ensure proper machine cleaning and perform routine preventive maintenance.
Follow 5S, safety, and quality standards within the production area.
Coordinate with the Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
Minimise material wastage and improve machine productivity.
