Job Description

  • Operate and monitor VMC machines as per production requirements.

  • Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and components for machining.

  • Load and unload components safely and efficiently.

  • Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.

  • Perform tool setting and tool offset adjustments.

  • Monitor machining operations and ensure required dimensions are maintained.

  • Conduct in-process inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.

  • Identify dimensional or machining defects and report them to the supervisor/quality team.

  • Maintain production targets and ensure minimum rejection/rework.

  • Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine machine cleaning.

  • Follow 5S, safety procedures, and quality standards.

  • Maintain proper records of production and inspection activities.

  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
