Job Description

  • Operate VMC machines with Mitsubishi and FANUC controls

  • Set up jobs as per drawings, including fixture alignment and tool offsets

  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions

  • Load and modify CNC programs (offset corrections, tool changes)

  • Perform machining operations on fabricated components (plates, brackets, welded parts, structures)

  • Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge)

  • Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications

  • Monitor tool wear and replace cutting tools as required

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions during machining

  • Maintain daily production records and quality documentation
