Engineer - VOS Job Summary If you are a design professional, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking for a VOS Engineering professional to support our Persistent Sensing Team. This position will work with the team to Create the General Arrangement Drawings and Bill of Materials for Emerson's VOS ETO business. You will take part in project-wide reviews of requirements, specifications, and detailed design Drawings. You will also be responsible for collaborating with internal customers such as the sales team and project managers to understand project schedule and scope requirements in high-quality design in accordance with our Quality system, as well as ensuring Engineering deliverables are prepared with due diligence and appropriate consideration of customer requirements. As an Engineer - Your Responsibilities Will Be: Participate in the handover meeting and discuss with sales and project management team on the project requirements and any deviations. Create wiring, schematic, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with the project specification and engineering Guidelines. Creating the manufacturing designs and the bill of materials in ERP. Updating the metrics and weekly report . Organize documents using Windchill or Team Center. Investigate and resolve operational problems from an engineering perspective. Should be action oriented and customer focus on deliverables and need to meet the deadline. Education, skill, and experience, you require for this role: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent 1-2 years of overall experience in CAD and PLM tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Ability to drive change and effectively handle multiple priorities. To use CAD tool to create Drawings based on the standard and to maintain Drawing Database Good Engineering knowledge required to apply concepts in Valve operating system Engineering. Good In planning, collaborating with cross functional team Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in solidedge / Creo, Team center/ Windchill/ Enovia.
