Designation – Lathe Machine operator (Turner)

Experience – 2+ years

Qualifications:

• ITI certification in Turner or relevant discipline

• Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Attention to detail and precision

• Good understanding of safety procedures

Skills:

Lathe operation, Machining, Technical drawing interpretation, Machine maintenance, Precision measurement, Safety compliance, Problem-solving

Key responsibilities:

• Operating Lathes: Using lathes to create cylindrical shapes, cut threads, and perform other turning operations.

• Setting Up Machines: Preparing lathes and other turning machines for specific tasks, including selecting appropriate cutting tools and setting machine parameters.

• Reading and Interpreting Drawings: Understanding and following engineering drawings to ensure accurate part dimensions and specifications.

• Quality Control: Measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on lathes and other turning equipment.

• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the turning process.

• Collaboration: Working with engineers, designers, and other production personnel to achieve project goals.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
