Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain lathe machines for machining components as per drawings and specifications
Perform turning, boring, drilling, and threading operations
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions
Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.)
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish of components
Set up tools, fixtures, and materials on machines
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
Report any defects, machine issues, or deviations to the supervisor
