Tool and Die Maker

• Manufacture, assemble, and maintain press tools (progressive, compound, blanking, forming).

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and tool designs.

• Operate tool room machines such as lathe, milling, surface grinder, EDM, wire cut, etc.

• Perform tool fitting, bench work, and die assembly.

• Conduct tool trials and ensure proper functioning of tools in press machines.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of press tools.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to tool wear, alignment, or damage.

• Collaborate with the design and production teams for tool improvement.

• Maintain records of tool usage, modification, and maintenance.
