Measurement Assistant – uPVC / Windows & Doors

Reports To

Measurement Engineer / Site Supervisor / Production Manager

Job Purpose

To assist in taking precise site measurements, preparing reports, coordinating with production & installation teams, and ensuring accuracy in dimensions for uPVC door and window fabrication & installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer / site locations to take accurate measurements of windows, doors, frames, and openings.

• Use measurement tools (laser measure, tape, spirit level, plumb bob, etc.) to record precise dimensions.

• Verify existing structure & site conditions (plumb, level, square, obstructions).

• Prepare measurement sheets, sketches, and reports for production.

• Share measurement data with design / production teams in required format (Excel, CAD, or software).

• Assist in quantifying material requirements (profiles, glass, hardware, sealants).

• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure manufactured products match site measurements.

• Accompany installation teams for verification and assist in resolving mismatches.

• Maintain measurement instruments in good condition.

• Travel to multiple sites daily within Bangalore and nearby areas.

• Follow all site safety protocols and use protective gear.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: 10+2 / PUC

• Experience: 1–3 years in measurement, site survey, or windows/doors fabrication preferred

• Proficiency in measurement tools (laser, digital devices, tape, etc.)

• Ability to read basic drawings or sketches; drafting skills a plus

• Good numerical ability (area, tolerances, clearances)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication skills; ability to coordinate with customers and site staff

• Must possess valid two-wheeler license and own vehicle

• Basic computer knowledge

• Physically fit and comfortable with field work

• Languages - Kannada must, English & Hindi preferred
