Supervisor

SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced individual with over 3 years of experience. The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to communicate and enforce safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Develop and implement safety policies.

·         Conduct regular safety audits and inceptions to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

·         Coordinate with management to develop safety strategies and initiatives.

·         Develop training records and ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements.

·         Investigate workplace incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

·         Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards.

·         Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

·         Monitor the effectiveness of safety measures and adjust as necessary.

·         Lead teams at site regarding safety issues and initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Stay current with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations and standards.

·         Ensure that organization complies with all local, state and federal safety regulations.

·         Experience should be of 3+ years in safety supervisor role.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·         The position may require working in various environments including office settings, industrial sites and field location.

·         Must have experience in TATA steel services.

·         Should have faced at least 2+ Safety Audits(1000marks) and scored more than 700 marks.

·         Person having received Star 4 for their organization will be preferred

·         Should have JNTVTI training.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or in any degree is required.
