Store Officer

Manage inward and outward movement of materials.

Receive raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and spare parts as per PO and supporting documents.

Prepare and maintain GRN, material receipt, issue slips, transfer notes, and stock records.

Ensure proper inspection, identification, tagging, and storage of materials.

Issue materials to Production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.

Maintain accurate RM, PM, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods inventory.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and highlight shortages to the Purchase/SCM team.

Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and SCM departments.

Maintain records of rejected, damaged, excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials.

Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation within the store.

Maintain proper storage conditions for materials as per their requirements.

Update inventory transactions in ERP/SAP/Tally or other inventory management software.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and consumption reports.

Support stock audits, internal audits, and external audits.

Ensure materials are issued and transferred only against proper authorization.

Maintain smooth material availability to support uninterrupted production operations.
