Job Description – Store Executive

Location: Musalgaon MIDC, Sinnar
Department: Stores & Inventory Management
Reporting To: Store Manager / Plant Head / Admin & Accounts Head
Working Days & Time: Monday – Saturday, 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: 20K to 25K

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward materials (raw material, packing material, finished goods, engineering spares).

• Ensure proper stacking, identification, and tagging of materials as per FIFO/FEFO system.

• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.

2. Material Inward & Outward

• Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note) against purchase orders and supplier invoices.

• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for smooth material flow.

• Issue spare parts, packing material, and consumables to concerned departments and update records.

3. Documentation & ERP

• Maintain stock registers (manual & ERP/software).

• Ensure compliance with audit requirements (challans, invoices, stock reports).

• Support monthly MIS and stock valuation reports.

4. Coordination & Vendor Management

• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and purchase department for timely material supply.

• Assist in raising purchase requisitions based on stock levels and production needs.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety norms while storing materials.

• Maintain hygiene, pest control, and safety measures in the store area.

• Ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of inventory control, engineering spares, and storekeeping practices.

• Familiarity with MS Excel, ERP software, or inventory management tools.

• Strong analytical and coordination skills.

• Understanding of mechanical spares and production requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) – Mandatory.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in stores/inventory management (preferably in manufacturing, food, or FMCG industry).

• Freshers not eligible.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
