Job Role

Steel Fixer / Rebar Fixer

Job Responsibilities

· Read and follow reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules and supervisor instructions where applicable.

· Measure, cut, bend and position reinforcement bars according to project specifications.

· Tie reinforcement bars securely using binding wire and suitable tools.

· Install reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other concrete structures as assigned.

· Check bar spacing, alignment, cover and placement before concrete work, as directed.

· Follow site safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment and keep the work area organised.

Skills & Experience

· Relevant steel fixing or rebar fixing experience in construction projects is preferred.

· Knowledge of reinforcement bars, binding wire, cutting and bending tools.

· Ability to follow drawings, measurements and instructions accurately.

· Able to work safely with a construction team and meet site requirements.

· Experience in foundations, columns, beams or slabs is an advantage.
