Shift Operator

Qualifications :

ITI (Chemical Plant Operation) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology

Experience :

3–5 years of hands-on experience in a chemical, oleochemical, specialty chemical, or allied manufacturing plant

Required Skills :

Process Operations
Running and monitoring batch reactors (SS reactors)
Handling Chemical related Raw material.
Operating vacuum systems, condensers, distillation columns.
Basic understanding of esterification / transesterification reactions
Reading and following SOPs
Operating and handling Flaker operations
Experience in Tanker/Flexi Loading Unloading
Basic QC checks (Acid Value, pH)
Maintaining batch record, Shift logbook.
Awareness of safe chemical handling (MSDS compliance)
Knowledge of Pumps (centrifugal / gear), valves, pressure gauges, temperature controllers
Basic operation of heating systems.
Knowledge of PPE usage — gloves, goggles, respirators, aprons
Fire safety awareness and use of firefighting equipment
Housekeeping discipline on the shop floor
