Job Description – Service Engineer (Field Installation & Dispatch)

Position Summary

Greenera Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to manage machine installation, commissioning, dispatch coordination, and after-sales technical support at customer sites. The candidate should be comfortable with extensive field work and capable of independently handling equipment installation and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites.

• Perform site visits for inspection, machine setup, alignment, and operational readiness.

• Coordinate with the production and logistics team for machine dispatch planning and execution.

• Ensure machines are properly packed, loaded, and dispatched as per schedule.

• Conduct trial runs and performance testing after installation.

• Provide operator training and machine operation guidance to customers.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during installation and service visits.

• Prepare and submit service reports, installation reports, and commissioning checklists.

• Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules and technical requirements.

• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.

• Travel to project sites across India as required.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in field service, machine installation, commissioning, or industrial equipment support.

• Experience in waste management equipment, composting machines, shredders, balers, conveyors, trommels, or industrial machinery preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
