Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with experience in the manufacturing industry to provide technical support, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and familiarity with performance metrics (e.g., OEE, downtime analysis, and neo metrics) to drive operational efficiency and ensure seamless production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
Diagnose technical issues, implement corrective actions, and minimize production downtime.
Technical Support
Provide on-site and remote support to resolve equipment failures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, to address engineering challenges.
Performance Optimization
Analyze production data and neo metrics (e.g., cycle time, yield rates, energy efficiency) to identify improvement opportunities.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Training
Maintain detailed records of service activities, equipment performance, and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: 3+ years in a service engineering role within the manufacturing sector.
