Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service & Onsite Support Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities and PLC programming knowledge. The candidate will handle installation, commissioning, and maintenance of SPMs and PLC systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning - Perform onsite installation and commissioning of SPMs and PLCcontrolled systems. - Ensure proper calibration, alignment, and configuration of machines and control panels. - Verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance - Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues in SPMs and automation systems. - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime. - Maintain service logs and update documentation after each service visit.

3. PLC Programming & Support - Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic as per machine requirements. - Update and optimize PLC programs to improve machine performance and reliability. - Provide technical support to operators and production teams regarding PLC-controlled equipment.

4. Customer Interaction & Onsite Support - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during installation, maintenance, and breakdown scenarios. - Train operators and client maintenance teams on machine operation and safety procedures. - Respond promptly to service calls and provide solutions to technical problems onsite.

5. Coordination & Reporting - Coordinate with internal design, production, and QA teams for issue resolution. - Prepare detailed service reports, including issues identified, actions taken, and recommendations. - Provide feedback to engineering teams for continuous product improvement.

6. Compliance & Safety - Ensure adherence to company safety policies, client safety protocols, and local regulations. - Maintain and operate tools, instruments, and equipment safely and responsibly.
