Autocracy Machinery is looking for a Service Intern to support on-site installation, commissioning, and service activities of our machines.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in machine installation, performing service visits, and carrying out spare parts replacement under the guidance of senior field engineers. The position requires basic technical understanding, hands-on aptitude, and the ability to work at customer sites in field conditions.
Carry out on-site installation, commissioning, and basic setup of Autocracy Machinery equipment under guidance of senior engineers.
Perform service visits for inspection, troubleshooting, and replacement of faulty or worn-out spare parts at customer locations.
Ensure correct installation and fitment of spare parts as per service manuals and safety standards.
Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and take corrective action during service calls.
Coordinate with the service and spares team to arrange required spare parts for installation and breakdown cases.
Update service reports, installation checklists, and spare replacement records after completion of on-site work.
Communicate with customers at site regarding work performed, machine status, and next steps.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior field engineers or product SPOCs for further guidance.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during all field activities.
Support preventive maintenance activities and routine servicing of machines.
Travel to customer sites as required and represent Autocracy Machinery in a professional manner.
Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical and Agricultural Engineering.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Hindi (mandatory) with customers and internal teams.
Basic understanding of mechanical or industrial machinery (training will be provided).
Willingness to travel extensively and work in field conditions.
Good communication skills to interact with customers at site and coordinate with senior engineers.
Ability to escalate technical issues beyond scope to senior field engineers or product SPOCs.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel for service reporting (preferred, not mandatory).
Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced service environment.

You will work closely with the Service Manager, Product SPOCs, Field Engineers, and the Operations Team as part of the Service & Support Department.
