Job Description Do building structures fascinate you and do you enjoy discussions on technical topics related to structural engineering? We are seeking a senior structural engineer who will be able to help us grow our design team in structures department with their technical expertise with having worked on overseas projects to international codes. You should have led buildings projects with multiple typologies from concept to detailed design stage. Your duty will be to design and manage Finland projects from India (Gurgaon) while liaising with virtual team across the country and in Finland. You must have a master’s degree in structures from an institute of repute. Experience of around 8-10 years but not necessarily in number of years but in developing ways of working in a structural design team though the lessons learned over years of practice. Basic knowledge of how ETABS, ROBOT, or TEKLA structural designer (TSD) work and working with MS excel will be required. Revit, and AUTOCAD basics will be added advantages. In depth knowledge of in-situ Concrete and Steel work design, commercial acumen and people managing skills are the qualities we are looking for. Good understanding of Steel Structures. Experience in Analysis & Design of Industrial Steel Structures Experience in International Codes, especially Eurocodes, is preferred. Experience in review and approval Steel Workshop & Erection/GA Drawings. Experience of connection calculation (Idea Statica experience preferred). Basic skills in Tekla Structures. Basic understanding and experience of Revit and ACC is beneficial. Expertise in analysis software like STAAD Pro, RFEM Other preferred software skills: Robot, FEM design, ETABS. Preferred Qualifications: B Tech/M Tech in Civil from a reputed institution. Experience on International projects/codes like Eurocodes is advantageous. Experience on analysis, design and detailing of Steel structures Deliver in High Quality: Calculation Models & Reports, Steel Workshop & Erection Drawings (QA) Qualifications Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: B Tech/M Tech degree in Structural Engineering from an institute of repute. Must have experience on buildings projects with Structural steel. Analysis & Design of Steel Structures using STAAD Pro and/or RFEM. Experience in Eurocodes is preferred. Connection Calculations (Idea Statica expertise preferred) Checking and approval of Workshop and Erection/GA Drawings. Ability to collaborate and work in large and diverse project teams.
