Key Responsibilities:

1. Creating 3D designs in SolidWorks of sheet metal fabricated assemblies & sheet metal parts.

2. Create 2D drawings for Bending, fabrication and Assemblies.

3. Should be well verse with sheetmetal commands and features.

4. Preparing bill of materials for Fabrication, Machining and Purchase parts.

5. Prepare DXF & Nesting files of the flat patterns to be cut on laser cutting machine.

6. Should have good knowledge of Engineering components like gearbox, motors, gears, etc..

7. Should be able to co-ordinate with Production team & Bending/Fabrication vendors for drawing clarifications.

Required Skills:

1. Experience of 3-5 years in designing line in sheet metal industry.

2. Diploma (Mech.) holders.

3. Certified course in SolidWorks.

4. Knowledge of nesting of sheet metal parts.
5. Experience of working/coordinating with laser cutting and CNC bending machines operators
