Senior Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Production Manager for a cable tray manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring product quality, optimizing manufacturing processes, and achieving production targets while maintaining workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.

• Manage the manufacturing of cable trays, including perforated, ladder-type, and other cable tray products.

• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

• Supervise production staff, machine operators, and workers.

• Ensure product quality as per customer specifications and industry standards.

• Monitor raw material consumption, inventory, and material wastage.

• Coordinate with the Purchase, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

• Ensure proper machine maintenance and minimize production downtime.

• Maintain production reports, records, and daily performance data.

• Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering preferred.

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in production management, preferably in cable tray manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication.

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, cutting, punching, bending, and welding processes.

• Ability to manage manpower, production targets, and manufacturing schedules.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

• Knowledge of quality control, material planning, and production reporting.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 4 - 6 years of experience.
