Senior Machine Operator

We are looking for a FLEXO MACHINE OPERATOR to join our team at Jupiter Technologies Private Limited. The role involves operating Flexo printing machine, This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30000 - ₹32000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup and Preparation

  • Set up flexographic printing machines based on job specifications (plate mounting, ink mixing, substrate loading).

  • Calibrate machine settings (tension, speed, registration, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.

• Operation and Monitoring

  • Operate the flexo press efficiently to produce high-quality printed materials (e.g., labels, packaging).

  • Monitor the printing process continuously to identify defects, misalignments, or ink inconsistencies.

  • Adjust settings during the run as needed to maintain quality.

• Quality Control

  • Inspect printed materials for color consistency, registration accuracy, and print clarity.

  • Perform periodic sampling and measurements to ensure output meets client and industry standards.

  • Document quality control data and maintain production records.

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of the press and components (anilox rollers, doctor blades, etc.).

  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.

  • Report significant machine malfunctions to maintenance or technical teams.

• Material Handling

  • Load and unload substrates (paper, film, foil) and ensure correct materials are used per job order.

  • Mix and prepare inks according to color requirements and formulations.

• Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and machine guarding.

  • Follow environmental and workplace regulations (e.g., proper handling of solvents and waste).

• Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate job logs, maintenance records, and production reports.

  • Communicate job status and issues clearly to supervisors and other team members.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma in Printing and 3 - 4 years of experience in operating Flexo printing machine. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
