Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations (procurement to delivery)
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouses
Transportation & Distribution
Monitor shipments, ensure timely delivery
Optimize routes and reduce transportation costs
Handle freight negotiations and vendor management
Inventory Control
Maintain optimal stock levels
Track inventory using ERP systems
Prevent overstocking or stockouts
Warehouse Operations
Supervise warehousing activities (receiving, storage, dispatch)
Ensure proper handling and storage of goods
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation (invoices, shipping papers, customs clearance if needed)
Follow legal and safety regulations
Cost Optimization
Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics processes
Analyze logistics data and prepare reports
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in ERP/software (like SAP, Tally, or logistics tools)
