Senior Engineer Productivity Improvements- To improve productivity in assembly through Elementary Operations and innovation Projects MIS Preparation- To share Weekly audit reports, & weekly review Cycle Time Reduction – To analyze cycle time in assembly Technical Support: Have technical ownership of processes and equipment in-house as well as with subcontractors / suppliers and proactively provide strong technical support to all areas of operations. Improve the availability of methods people online to proactively take care of process related issues. Trouble shoots with suppliers in case of quality and capacity issues of tools and molds and resolve them. Participate in SIM / Plant management meetings and ensure systematic root cause analysis and eliminate the recurrence of the same problems once again. Based on bench marking with mother plants / best practices to develop a new process to ensure cost effectiveness and quality improvement. Deploy SPS (Schneider Production System) Drive all actions to guarantee strict adherence to SPS throughout plant operations. Support and guide supply chain team in improving KANBAN, water spider movement and material providing and handling system in the plant. Analyze line flow and deploy appropriate action. Launch and enable completion of required VSM projects in the plant. Perform 5 S audits and work towards reaching high 5 S scores; Ensure that all executives and operators are trained in SPS, Lean principles Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics To ensure industrial engineering and ergonomics standards are set and effectively taken care for all new lines. Guide and provide inputs to fill in the gaps. To take all corrective and preventive action to meet SPS standards. Experience Level Senior Level
