Senior Design Engineer I Job Summary If you are a qualified Engineer with engineering experience, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for Senior Design Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role involves setting objectives, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing support to help the team succeed. You will also be responsible for tackling challenges and extending support for team’s initiatives. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Creating Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks. Extending drafting support up to Level 5 drawings using SolidWorks. Creating Complex Models, assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks. Perform detail Checking of General Arrangement Drawings for Projects. Reviewing project requirements and assigning project leaders. Interact with PM to understand customer drawing requirements and get CAD files for buyout products. Interact with OE and AE as required for the project/backlog drawing support. Understand Global Engineering Standards and implement them. Support Outline drawing using ADCI Application. Preparation of Schematics and Bill of Materials for Level Drawings. Involve in training/mentoring the drafters. Who You Are: You actively seek out information about a wide variety of cultures and viewpoints. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 4 years' experience in Drafting/Project handling/CAD modelling. Experience in SolidWorks CAD. Experience in SolidWorks PDM. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering. Knowledge in Control Valve products Knowledge in Engineering Standards Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage.
