Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to independently manage engineering documentation and create stage-wise manufacturing plans for precision machined parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Review customer drawings, verify 3D models, and check GD&T and material specifications.
Create detailed stage-wise manufacturing drawings for turning and milling operations.
Generate stage-wise inspection reports using the SolidWorks Inspection application.
Solve technical problems and perform root cause analysis on the shop floor.
Requirements:
1 to 2+ years of experience in precision manufacturing.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling, drafting, and Inspection) and MS Excel.
Expert understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and thread calculations.
Strong knowledge of machining processes (turning, milling, sparking), material hardness, and special processes.
