Safety Officer

Job Title: Safety & Environment Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for fire safety and overall plant safety.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and safety procedures.

• Conduct regular safety inspections of the plant and identify potential hazards.

• Ensure proper maintenance and availability of fire extinguishers, fire-fighting equipment and emergency exits.

• Conduct/coordinate fire drills and safety awareness training for employees.

• Monitor the use of PPE and ensure employees follow safety practices.

• Maintain safety records, inspection reports and incident/accident reports.

• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for rectification of safety issues.

• Support basic environmental safety measures, including waste management, housekeeping and pollution-control practices.

• Assist management in maintaining statutory safety and environmental compliance.

Candidate Profile:

• 2–5 years of experience in plant safety / fire safety / EHS preferred.

• Knowledge of fire safety, industrial safety and basic environmental practices.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to independently identify and address safety concerns.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
