Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Safety Officer with ADIS certification to ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor EHS policies and safety procedures across the plant.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and industrial safety standards.

• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency mock drills.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.

• Monitor the use of PPE and promote a strong safety culture among employees.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on safety-related matters.

• Maintain safety records, permits, and statutory documentation.

Requirements

• ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) is mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the API, pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industry.

• Good knowledge of industrial safety regulations, fire safety, and emergency response.

• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

• Experience in API/Pharmaceutical manufacturing will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 6 years of experience.
