Responsibilities:
Study the previous season’s performance and take corrective action about key KPIs (like ASPs and Sell Through).
To analyze trend forecasts with the product & design team before the buying season.
To ensure a right buy mix of Fashion vs Core Styles vs Volume Generators to Run Vendors Factory's and commercially viable to Business.
Buying based on brand KPIs such as ASPs, Category Mix etc.
To keep timely checks on OTB, based on sales, fashion trends, channel behavior.
To ensure that merchandise on the floor is always a representation of the brand's DNA.
To make monthly reports on competition brands & present the same to the Sales / Vertical Merchandising team.
Increase revenue at Category Level (Primary Sales)
Improve Inward Margins.
Growth of sub-categories.
Range Planning @ Category + Price Point Wise.
Competition Analysis with respect to trends and overall assortment matrix.
Options / Range planning.
OTB working along with the planning team.
Inventory Management at CWH Level (FG + WIP)
Responsible for managing vendors and building the network to ensure that (In house factory along with Outsourcing)
Vendor-Product Mapping.
Co-ordinating with sales and marketing for the growth of the category.
To ensure that all themes/stories are planned and executed together at the shop floor; to co-ordinate with the visual team and pass on information regarding such stories/themes.
