Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities: • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment. • Inspect machines regularly to spot and fix issues early. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems. • Replace faulty parts using the right tools and instruments. • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns. • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. • Follow all safety rules and company policies during work. • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting work. • Work with external vendors for specialized repairs. • Suggest ways to improve equipment performance and reliability. Skills & Experience: • ITI certification (Machinist, Maintenance Mechanic) or equivalent. • 8 - 16 years’ experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing setup. • Proven experience in repairing and maintaining hydraulic machines. • Hands-on expertise in repairing and maintaining threading machines, lathe machines, drilling machines, and special purpose machines (SPMs). • Ability to diagnose faults, replace parts, and ensure machines operate efficiently. • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to reduce breakdowns and improve uptime. • Basic MS Excel skills for recording maintenance data and preparing reports.
