Perform Visual Inspection of welds and surfaces to identify defects like cracks, porosity, or spatters.
Conduct Dimensional Measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (e.g., Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic) as required by project specifications.
Process Control:
Monitor fabrication processes including Welding (WPS/PQR compliance), laser/plasma cutting, and CNC machining.
Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) to track and manage manufacturing trends.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or other industry-specific standards.
Prepare inspection reports, First Article Inspections (FAI), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
Problem Solving:
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformities using tools like 5-Whys, Fishbone diagrams, or 8D reports.
Collaborate with production teams to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to reduce rework and scrap.
Supplier & Customer Management:
Liaise with customers for final inspections and audits.
