Implement and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality standards.
Prepare, update, and monitor quality documentation (SOPs, WI, Control Plans, FMEAs, PPAP).
Conduct internal quality audits and follow-up actions.
Inspect incoming raw materials (plastic granules, packaging, components).
Approve vendor materials and maintain supplier evaluation records.
Monitor quality parameters during molding operations.
Ensure adherence to control plan, machine setting sheets, and process parameters.
Conduct first-piece approval for every start-up / changeover.
Conduct final inspection of molded parts before dispatch.
Ensure packaging standards and labeling requirements are followed.
Handle customer complaints (8D, CAPA).
Coordinate with customers for audits, inspections, and quality approvals.
Maintain customer satisfaction index.
Lead and train QA inspectors, engineers, and operators.
Conduct quality-related training (defect identification, 5S, problem-solving).
Work with production to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
Implement Lean, Kaizen, and mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke) projects.
Analyze defects using tools: 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto, Fishbone.
