Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming, in-process, and final machined components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Identify defects and coordinate with production for corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
Conduct first-piece approval and final inspection.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
Support customer audits and internal quality audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems (if applicable).
Required Skills
Good knowledge of CNC machined components inspection.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Hands-on experience with:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer (Inside & Outside)
Height Gauge
Bore Gauge
Dial Gauge
Thread Plug & Ring Gauges
Slip Gauges
Surface Plate
Basic knowledge of SPC, 7 QC Tools, and CAPA.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
