Quality Inspector

Kanika Fasteners Private Limited is a growing manufacturing company engaged in the production and export of high-quality fasteners and related products. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Control professional to ensure that our products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and components as per specifications.

• Perform in-process and final inspection of manufactured products.

• Check dimensions, thread specifications, coating/plating, appearance, and other quality parameters.

• Ensure products conform to customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Thread Gauges, etc.

• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and test reports.

• Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming materials/products.

• Coordinate with Production to identify the root cause of quality issues.

• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring defects.

• Conduct random and batch-wise quality inspections during production.

• Assist in maintaining quality standards and inspection procedures.

• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for final clearance of finished goods.

• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspection records.

• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in fasteners, metal, wire, engineering, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good understanding of engineering drawings and product specifications.

• Knowledge of thread gauges and dimensional inspection.

• Ability to identify defects and investigate quality issues.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work effectively with Production and other departments.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
