Key Responsibilities
● Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, components, and finished footwear products.
● Inspect footwear for defects related to stitching, bonding, sole attachment, finishing, color consistency, sizing, labeling, and packaging.
● Ensure products comply with company quality standards and customer specifications.
● Perform in-line and final inspections during the production process.
● Identify, document, and report quality defects and coordinate with the production team for corrective actions.
● Verify measurements, fit, appearance, and workmanship of footwear.
● Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and daily inspection logs.
● Monitor adherence to quality control procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
● Ensure packaging and labeling meet company and customer requirements before dispatch.
● Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Follow workplace safety and quality compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
● Diploma, ITI, or Graduate in any discipline.
● 1–3 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the footwear, leather goods, or apparel industry.
● Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
