Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY INSPECTOR

Location: Sanaswadi, Pune
Department: Quality |

Function: QA/QC
Reporting To: Quality Head / Quality Manager

Role Purpose

Responsible for in-house incoming, in-process and final inspection, defect identification, non-conforming material segregation, rejection control, rework verification and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual, dimensional and sampling/100% inspection as per drawings, specifications and standards.
Identify defects including surface, paint/coating, dimensional, fitment, scratches, dents, cracks, contamination and workmanship issues.
Use Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Go/No-Go Gauges and other applicable instruments.
Segregate, identify and control rejected/non-conforming material.
Record inspection, rejection, rework and re-inspection quantities with defect details.
Verify reworked parts before release.
Monitor recurring defects, support rejection analysis/root-cause investigation and coordinate with Production for corrective action.
Maintain inspection reports, check sheets and quality records.
Escalate critical/repetitive quality issues promptly.
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures/work instructions.

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical, Production, Automobile or related discipline.
2–5 years of Quality Inspection/QC experience in automotive, engineering, plastic, painted/coated or manufacturing industries.
Hands-on experience in visual/dimensional inspection and rejection control preferred.

Technical Skills

Engineering drawing/specification interpretation.
Measuring instruments and basic inspection methods.
Non-conforming material/rejection control.
Basic 7 QC Tools and IATF 16949 knowledge preferred.
Basic computer skills for quality records.

Work Location: Sanaswadi, Pune, Maha

Duty-8.5'hrs( Shift A'B')

Ctc-23000 TO 25000/-(Including PF ESI & PT)
