Job Description

Years of experience : 3-5Years(Flexible if knowledgeable)

Qualification : Diploma Mechanical engg

• Well conversant for using of Measuring instrument like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore

Gauges etc..

• Able to read and interpret Engineering drawing and geometrical tolerances requirement

• Able to detect any counter fraudulent inspection report received from Supplier or during

inspection of bought out items

• Review of Supplier documentation (Raw Material MTC/Inspection report/EOMR

· In depth knowledge about Machining and Assembly process preferably from Steam Turbine

Manufacturing Processes

• Raise flag for any non-conformance/process deviations

• Hands on experience on QM Module of SAP

• Create awareness among team to raise stop work/Quality Concern on small deviations

• Able to communicate on deviation with the sourcing/supplier/supplier quality.

• Preparation of Visual inspection reports

• Carryout “C” class component inspection and prepare dimension inspection report.

• Work as a bridge between shop quality team and sourcing quality team.

• Monitor Issues identified during shop and work with sourcing to improve the process at

supplier end.

Quality Inspector for Fabrication Shop – 4 Nos of Person required.

Years of experience : 3-5Years(Flexible if knowledgeable)

Qualification : Diploma Mechanical engg

• NDT Level II in UT/PT/MT/VT as per ASNT/ISO 9712 or ASNT-Level-II

• Ready to work in all three shifts

• Hands on experience in usage of UT of welded structure and able to identify the weld defects.

• Carry out inspection of weld quality – Visual ,UT, MT, & PT of Weld Joints.

• Should be able to do Dimensional Fit up inspections and Final inspections of welded structures.

• Raise flag for any non-conformance/process deviations

• Create awareness among team to raise stop work/Quality Concern on small deviations

• Well convergent with component and assembly drawings

• Identify productivity improvement opportunities from Inspection perspective.

• Prepare stagewise Inspection checklist for components and assemblies

• Raise NCR when any non-conformance is noticed.

• Coordinate with Shift Production Engineer on daily inspection needs/priorities.

• Hands on experience on QM Module of SAP
