Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of rubber extruded and moulded components using measuring instruments.

• Conduct routine quality checks during production and maintain inspection records.

• Verify finished products against customer drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements.

• Perform hardness testing, visual inspection, and basic physical property checks.

• Prepare and maintain Material Test Certificates (MTCs), inspection reports, and quality documentation.

• Handle non-conforming products and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.

• Assist during customer audits, RDSO/RITES inspections, and quality audits.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management procedures.

• Monitor callibration status of measuring instruments and testing equipment.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and customer complaints.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in quality inspection within manufacturing industries.

• Experience in rubber, polymer, extrusion, moulding, automotive, or engineering products preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as:

  • Vernier Caliper

  • Micrometer

  • Height Gauge

  • Hardness Tester (Shore A)

  • Thickness Gauge

• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EPDM rubber profiles, silicone products, gaskets, seals, and railway components.

• Knowledge of dimensional tolerance standards and quality testing procedures.

• Experience handling customer inspections and quality audits.
