Job Summary
The Quality Inspector Supervisor is responsible for supervising quality inspection and packaging activities, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role includes overseeing labeling, strapping, box packing, palletization, and dispatch-related quality checks.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise quality inspection activities on finished products.
Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and internal standards.
Monitor and verify correct labeling of products, boxes, and pallets.
Supervise strapping activities to ensure safe transportation.
Ensure proper packing of products into boxes as per packing standards.
Oversee palletization activities and verify pallet configuration as per customer requirements.
Conduct final inspection before dispatch.
Maintain inspection, packaging, and dispatch records.
Train and guide inspectors and packing operators on quality and packaging procedures.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company procedures.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Quality Inspection and Quality Control processes.
Hands-on experience in labeling, strapping, box packing, and palletization.
Ability to read drawings, inspection plans, and packing specifications.
Team handling and supervisory skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of 5S and quality documentation.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection and Packaging Supervision.
