Job Title: QC Manager – Footwear (Fashion Segment)

Location: Dehradun (Selaqui), Uttarakhand

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager with a strong background in fashion footwear (kids & ladies, synthetic only). The QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with specifications, and maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire QC process for kids’ and ladies’ synthetic footwear (non-leather).

• Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure products meet company and client standards.

• Conduct inspections at different stages of production – cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing, and packing.

• Identify defects, suggest corrective actions, and coordinate with production teams for resolution.

• Develop quality guidelines, inspection checklists, and reporting formats.

• Train and guide QC inspectors to maintain consistency in quality checks.

• Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to ensure new developments meet quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with international quality standards and buyer requirements.

• Prepare detailed QC reports and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–10 years of QC experience in footwear industry (mandatory in kids’ and ladies’ fashion footwear – synthetic only).

• Strong technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and finishing processes.

• Proven ability to handle buyer quality audits and ensure compliance.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Footwear Technology or related field (preferred).
