Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop and implement quality management systems and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and feed safety requirements.
Conduct internal quality audits and process reviews.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Quality Control (QC)
Monitor testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Verify nutritional parameters such as Protein, Fat, Fiber, Moisture, Ash, Calcium, and Phosphorus.
Approve or reject raw materials and finished products based on specifications.
Ensure proper sample retention and documentation.
Laboratory Management
Manage feed testing laboratory operations.
Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Monitor testing accuracy and reporting.
Maintain laboratory records and reports.
Production Quality Monitoring
Monitor grinding, mixing, pelleting, and packing processes.
Verify feed formulation compliance.
Ensure pellet durability and product uniformity.
Coordinate with production team to minimize quality deviations.
Complaint Handling
Investigate customer quality complaints.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Prepare complaint closure reports.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with feed regulations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate inspections and external audits.
Maintain all quality-related documentation and certifications.
4. Required Qualifications
B.V.Sc. & A.H. / Agriculture Graduate preferred.
6. Experience
5–10 years of experience in cattle feed or animal nutrition industry.
Minimum 3 years in a quality management role.
Experience in feed testing laboratory operations preferred.
