Quality Control Manager

We are looking for a Quality Head to join our team Arvind Automotive India Pvt Ltd . The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of In Hand Salary and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

• Define the quality vision, goals, and strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.

• Lead and manage the quality department/team.

• Advise senior management on quality-related risks, improvements, and regulations.

2. Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP).

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and customer requirements.

• Conduct periodic audits (internal and external) and oversee corrective actions.

3. Policy & Procedure Development

• Establish quality policies, SOPs, work instructions, and documentation practices.

• Ensure these documents are updated, controlled, and communicated effectively.

4. Continuous Improvement (CI)

• Lead Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, or similar CI initiatives.

• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

5. Supplier Quality Management

• Evaluate, approve, and monitor suppliers’ performance and compliance.

• Lead supplier audits and work on supplier development/improvement plans.

6. Customer Focus

• Handle customer complaints, non-conformances, and feedback.

• Ensure customer requirements and satisfaction are addressed proactively.

7. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure products/processes comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.

• Identify and mitigate quality-related risks.

8. Training & Development

• Train internal teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices.

• Ensure continuous skill development in the quality department.

9. Reporting & Metrics

• Define, track, and report key quality KPIs (e.g., defect rate, customer complaints, audit scores).

• Present quality performance updates to stakeholders.

10. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, engineering, R&D, procurement, and customer service teams to integrate quality into all functions.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 3 to 5 years in automotive manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
