We are looking for a Quality Head to join our team Arvind Automotive India Pvt Ltd . The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. Define the quality vision, goals, and strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
Lead and manage the quality department/team.
Advise senior management on quality-related risks, improvements, and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain QMS (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP).
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and customer requirements.
Conduct periodic audits (internal and external) and oversee corrective actions.
Establish quality policies, SOPs, work instructions, and documentation practices.
Ensure these documents are updated, controlled, and communicated effectively.
Lead Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, or similar CI initiatives.
Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Evaluate, approve, and monitor suppliers’ performance and compliance.
Lead supplier audits and work on supplier development/improvement plans.
Handle customer complaints, non-conformances, and feedback.
Ensure customer requirements and satisfaction are addressed proactively.
Ensure products/processes comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
Identify and mitigate quality-related risks.
Train internal teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
Ensure continuous skill development in the quality department.
Define, track, and report key quality KPIs (e.g., defect rate, customer complaints, audit scores).
Present quality performance updates to stakeholders.
Work closely with production, engineering, R&D, procurement, and customer service teams to integrate quality into all functions.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 3 to 5 years in automotive manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
