Quality Control Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify all incoming raw materials, sheet metal parts, and bought-out components against quality standards.

• Check dimensions, thickness, hardness, surface finish, and material grade using standard instruments.

• Ensure supplier parts meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and documentation.

• Coordinate with suppliers for rejection analysis, corrective & preventive actions.

• Monitor supplier performance and support vendor development activities.

• Ensure compliance with ISO/TS/IATF quality standards in incoming inspection.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for defect reduction in the supply chain.

• Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments used in IQC.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal materials, fabrication processes, and defects.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & GD&T.

• Proficiency with measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, etc.).

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management systems.

• Strong communication and coordination with suppliers & internal teams.
