Mechanical Quality Engineer – Fresher

Mohali Industrial Area (Punjab)

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering fresher for the role of Quality Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, quality control, documentation, and supporting manufacturing quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components.
Check product dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Identify defects and report non-conformance issues.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Support implementation of quality standards and SOPs.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve product quality.
Ensure compliance with ISO and safety standards.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Understanding of quality control processes.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic MS Excel and reporting knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
