Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspection

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished mechanical components.

• Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.

• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformance in products.

2. Technical Understanding

• Read and understand engineering drawings, 2D & 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Assist in preparing inspection reports and technical documentation.

• Support in updating and maintaining quality records.

3. Process Support

• Coordinate with production and design teams for quality-related issues.

• Assist in root cause analysis for quality problems under the guidance of seniors.

• Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily QC reports and maintain proper documentation.

• Update checklists, inspection formats, and maintain traceability of parts.

Skills & Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Fresher).

• Basic understanding of SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D & 3D modeling/drafting).

• Knowledge of mechanical components, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with measuring tools (Vernier, micrometer, gauge).

• Good analytical and observation skills.

• Strong communication and willingness to learn.
