Manufacturing Quality Control Engineer

Required Quality Control Engineer for a well-known Exports and Manufacturing Company in Ludhiana.

Qualification : B tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience : 1 to 3 Years

Salary : 18-30000

Skills Required :

Measuring Instruments: Proficiency in handling precision tools such as:

• Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators

• Profile Projectors, Bore Gauges, Thread Gauges

• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) & Roughness Testers

· Solid understanding of processes like Machining, Forging, Sheet Metal / Press Shop, Welding, and Casting.

Inspection & Testing:

• In-process Inspection & Final/PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection)

• Receiving/Incoming Inspection for raw materials and components

• NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) basics (e.g., Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle Inspection)

· Quality Systems & Process ToolsQC 7 Tools: Cause & Effect Diagram, Histogram, Control Charts, Pareto Chart, Check Sheet, Scatter Diagram, Process Flow Chart.

Core Quality Concepts:

· PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)

· APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

· FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

· SPC (Statistical Process Control) & MSA (Measurement System Analysis)

Documentation & Reporting:

· Preparing PDI Reports, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and Inspection Checklists.

· Maintaining calibration records for measuring instruments.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (like SAP or Tally) for entry logging

Job profile :

• Nominate daily quality problem for solution of his line.

• Act as a team leader and team member.

• Daily rejection review of his area.

• Get root cause analysis and corrective action from production team record same.

• Ensure proper instrument /gauges in line.

• Review inspection Reports daily.

• Get feedback from final inspection and take corrective action from production team.

• Layout inspection & Sample inspections of new developments.

• Inspection of regular items coming from vendor.

• May manage quality control program.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 0 - 6+ years Experience.
